Welcome to La Cuisine Robicheau, where our daily goal is to create and serve the finest local seafood in a homestyle atmosphere.
Our restaurant is located in Saulnierville, on the shores of Baie Sainte-Marie in Clare, home to the largest Acadian community in the province of Nova Scotia, Canada. We welcome diners near and far to enjoy the abundance of fresh, local and flavorful seafood, food that’s in season, and food that’s culturally distinct.

We are Nadine & Scott Robicheau, and together with our son Shane, a recently graduated Chef, have over 25 years sharing seafood culinary experiences. Our visitors arrive with hearty appetites and always leave with immense gratitude at having experienced the finest of seafood.
Upon entering La Cuisine Robicheau you get a true at-home feeling - some say it's just like going to Grandma’s house.
Our Signature Dishes
We are best known for our signature Seafood Lasagna and Haddock with Hot Creamed Lobster. We also specialize in fresh local seafood, home-cooked meals, and traditional Acadian dishes, all served from a west-facing, sunset spectacular dining room overlooking the beautiful Baie Sainte-Marie / St. Mary’s Bay.
Authentic Acadian Cuisine
Our restaurant was founded on the principles of our departed friend and mentor, Chef Paul Comeau, of the infamous Chez Christophe Restaurant of Grosses Coques, Clare, Nova Scotia. Chef Paul was deeply committed to offering authentic Acadian cuisine, helping to create a love of Acadian dishes such as Rappie Pie, Fricot & his highly sought after, Seafood Lasagna.
We proudly continue the culinary path travelled by Chef Paul Comeau, and have become a seafood restaurant destination of choice that continues to encourage annual restaurant visits by patrons near and far.
